The Society of Architectural & Urban Historians of Asia was founded in 2015 by a group of like-minded scholars with a common mission to advance the study of built environments in Asia through inter-Asian connections and collaborations and to encourage interdisciplinary, historical, theoretical and methodological explorations of the built environments of Asia.
